How the assailants waylaid their victim is still the subject of Police investigations.

The Wamala region Police spokesperson, Norbert Ochom, said on Thursday evening that the deceased's body was found without hands, cheeks and was decomposing. The body parts according to Police were eaten by animals.

"The assailants burying the victim halfway was to pave way for wild animals to feed on him in order to conceal evidence," said Ochom.

According to Ochom, the area is infested with wild dogs.
