Dott services offers to tarmac tourism roads

KAMPALA - President Yoweri Museveni had directed the Minister of Finance Matia Kasaija and Works Minister Monica Azuba to discuss with Dott Services after the company wrote to him with a proposal to design and build tourism roads under contractor facilitated financial model.
In a letter dated January 16, 2019, the President indicated that, "Dott services had approached me with a proposal to design tourism roads." He noted that Dott Services had expressed interest in working on the 35km Muko-Rushaga which is under the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) gate, 17kms Isoro-Mgahinga UWA Park gate, 35km Kisoro Rubugiri, 15kms Rubugiri-Nkuringo, 29kms Ikumba-Ruhija and 9kms Ntebe-Bwindi roads.
"I direct that you discuss this proposal with the company with the aim of supporting them as local investors," Museveni stated.
