Defending champions, Stanbic Black Pirates are determined to dent Kobs title hopes when the two meet on Friday at Legends Rugby Club.
Pirates lost the first round 26-13 to Kobs at the Kings Park ground in Bweyogerere and will be out to avenge that defeat.
"We lost the trophy when we lost to Heathens in the second round fixture, but we want to finish the season with wins and that is what we are going for against Kobs," Pirates team captain Ivan Magomu said.
Kobs and Heathens are the two title contenders, but the former with 68 points is on top of the log with a two-point margin as the latter is on 66 points.
Pirates are in third position on the table with 59 and believe that they can finish second if they win all their games.
However, Kobs skipper Brain Asaba when contacted said, "We are ready for them and I think the team with fewer mistakes will emerge winners."
A win for Kobs will leave them with only two games to go bu, they will be free to start victory celebrations.
