Pool star Ssejemba eyes supremacy

Ssejemba was not happy to share the top scorer position with experienced star Alfred 'Black Sheep' Gumikiriza of Elite Klein.

Capital Night pool player Ibra Ssejemba is convinced that he will top the National Pool League scoring charts this season.

Ssejemba was not happy to share the top scorer position with experienced star Alfred 'Black Sheep' Gumikiriza of Elite Klein.

"I squashed my chances when I failed to win all my games on the final day, but this season I will go for it," Ssejemba said in a tone exhibiting his disappointment.

Top scorers in the pool league each get sh500,000= in both the men and women categories.

Gumikiriza and Ssejemba scored 64 goals each for their teams in the league that climaxed on Sunday with Capital Night emerging champion.

In the women league, Ritah Nimusiima of CKI Pool Club scored 55 goals to emerge top scorer followed by Sheila Ankah of Jinja based Ronz Pool Club who emerged second top scorer with 48 goals.
