KAMPALA - There was no need for game three as all four teams booked their place in the Aziz Damani National Volleyball League Playoff finals scheduled for Wednesday at the Lugogo Arena in game two.

Nkumba A will face the Ndejje Elites while the UCU Doves will face defending champions Nemostars in the finals, in both women and men's categories respectively.

Nkumba-A showed their might as they brushed off the UCU Lady Doves who tried to put up a fight in game two.

"We knew UCU would come out well, we knew they would try and fight back, which they did in the first two sets but we managed the whole situation," Nkumba-A assistant coach Godwin Ssenyondo said.

The Elites also took care of the stubborn  Sport-S women to join Nkumba in the finals.
Nkumba are focused on winning the double while, Ndejje have designs on beating their rivals and repeat their feat from the KAVC international.

Meanwhile, in the men's campaigns, UCU were back to their best on Saturday afternoon as they relentlessly finished off the Ndejje Sharks to book their place in the clubs first finals playoffs series.

In the finals, the National Club Champions will meet a team that understands the playoffs quite well which puts them at a disadvantage.

They will go into the finals more weary than ever of their chances against Nemostars who clobbered Sport-S in game two.

"Last season we swept Nemostars in the regular season but they defeated us in the final. If you look at the Nemostars Sport-S semi final they have played like its a final of sorts which I think can only disadvantage my team because Ndejje has not offered us that kind of test," UCU coach Nasson Bwesigye said.
