He is also known to have pioneered the first ever one-man show "The Pablo Live Show" in 2009 after being crowned at Stand Up Uganda Mnet reality TV show in 2009 as the nation's leading funny man.

He, however, says Uganda's comedy is still in infancy compared to Nigeria and South Africa, adding that it was encouraging that the corporate world has embraced it now.

"Comedy in Uganda is young compared to countries such as Nigeria and South Africa that started as early as 1980s. The beauty with Ugandan comedy is that it's not entirely in English," he told New Vision in a separate interview.

He said a section of comedians are doing best in local languages yet "I have been to some countries where local comedians struggle to perform in their local languages".

Pablo has been in the comedy industry since 2003 and is set to celebrate 15 years of achievement with a show slated for December 2.
