'Give money to your wives if you want peaceful homes'

Lubowa was officiating at the confirmation of over 100 children at St. Luke Church of Uganda, Mpigi Archdeaconry on Sunday.

Central Buganda Diocesan Bishop Rt. Rev. Michael Lubowa has called on men in homes to support their wives and always give them money if they want to live happily in homes.

Bishop Lubowa said it is a responsibility of a man in a home to love their spouses and support them in different ways, including financial help.

"I call on you men to give money to your wives and love them, never get tired of financially  supporting your  wives if you want to live in happy homes," he says.

Lubowa was officiating at the confirmation of over 100 children at St. Luke Church of Uganda, Mpigi Archdeaconry on Sunday.

 

Lubowa called on the parents of the confirmed children to guide them on the values of the Anglican religion and also to make sure that they don't faulter in their faith.

"Parents and lay leaders, I kindly request you to keep these children in the church, don't allow them to faulter in faith" Lubowa said.

The Bishop also called on Christians to embrace forgiveness for others as God forgive them of their sins because God hates unforgiving hearts.

"You should learn how to forgive others as God your God forgave you of your sins, wish good for others if you want good things to turn back to you" Lubowa told Christians.

A total of sh621,000 was also raised by Christians as contribution towards the construction of the Bishops' house at Kasaka.
