URA FC beat Paidha Black Angels another debutant team 2-0, at Lugogo in Kampala, Kampala City Council Authority KCCA FC beat Toro United (formerly Soana FC) 2-1 and 10 man Bright Stars were 3-1 winners over prisons side Maroons FC. In total, day one of the premier league action produced 16 goals 15 more than last season on day one.
