Notice from Enabel

Enabel Uganda is supporting the Ministry of Education and Sports (MoES) implement the BTVET Strategic Plan - also referred to as Skilling Uganda Strategy under a 5 year-project - Support to Skilling Uganda (SSU). Its overall objective is increased employability of youth through better quality of instruction and technical/ vocational skills development. The specific objective is enhanced quality of skills development that are responsive to labour market needs.

The Support to Skilling Uganda intervention pilots a Skills Development Fund (SDF) in the regions of Karamoja, Northern Uganda and Rwenzori/Albertine. The interventions are funded by the European Union and Irish Aid and the Belgian Government but are implemented through the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) Uganda.
