Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards for December

The Pearl Of Africa Fashion Awards (PAFA) will recognise little known fashion designers from all over the country, according to the organisers.

This show takes place December, 15.

Last year, PAFA had 72 categories that included best fashion designer, best fashionista and best stylist for East, West, North and South at Sky Beach Freedom City. Renowned personalities such as Maurice Kirya, Anita Fabiola, Captain Mike Mukula, Idringi Salvado were also nominated in different categories.

Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards founder and CEO Yoweri Munamasaka said this year's awards will focus on rising stars in fashion industry. It will also provide a platform for young, unemployed youth to get jobs in the industry.

This year's categories include best dressed politician of the year, best use of social media, best graphics designer and best fashion blogger

Last year there was cash and other prizes unveiled at the nomination gala. This year, more prizes will be given to winners.
