City Oilers set up a mouthwatering semifinal clash against KIU Titans in the NBL Play-offs after overcoming a stubborn Sharing Youth side 84-75 in the second leg of their best of three quarter-finals.

Having won the first leg 81-69, the champions dominantly secured their semifinal berth after winning three of the second game's four sets following a 44-37 half time lead. In the second half, the Oilers won the third set 19-16 before going down 22-21 in the final set.

The Oiler's Jimmy Enabu led the challenge as he managed 20 points, while Landry Ndikumana added a double of 13 points and 14 rebounds as Josh Johnson scored 10 points.

For Sharing, Caesar Kizito scored a game high 21 points while his colleagues Baraka Mopele and Emma Okumu managed 11 points apiece.

Meanwhile, regular season winners Betway Power will this evening carry their prowess to JKL Dolphins in the beginning of their best of five semifinals.

Power secured their spot following a 2-0 quarter finals series win over Ndejje, while their opponents of the day JKL Dolphins produced a similar score line against Pemba Warriors.

In the ladies' game, KCCA will meet UCU Lady Canons at the semifinals stage, following a 44-77 victory over Angels to complete a 2-0 series win.
