Kampala University vs St. Lawrence University

3.00pm, Villa Park

Kampala University will today host St. Lawrence University at Villa Park in the Pepsi University Football League.

Although Kampala University came from behind to beat Nkumba University 2-1 last week, only St. Lawrence are guaranteed a top two finish from Group B as both Busitema and Nkumba who lie third and fourth on the table log still have a chance at the expense of Kampala University.

However, Kampala University coach Vincent Tumusiime is not worried about the situation.

"We are not worried about how Nkumba and Busitema are playing because that is outside our control. If we win our remaining games, we shall be assured of qualification and that is what we are focused on," he said.

"St. Lawrence are a good team. They beat us 2-0 in the first round, but we are prepared for them and I am sure we shall get a good, he concluded.

However, St. Lawrence University coach Nnono Ssozi says his team are not relaxed and are looking to continue with their winning display.

"Against KU we shall be fielding our strongest team because we need to keep the momentum going into the knockout stage.

This will also be an opportunity for us to try out some combinations here and there as we prepare for the knockout stage. It is an important game for us and we are taking it seriously," Nnono said.
