Bid invitations from UNRA

1.The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of the Multinational Uganda/Kenya: Kapchorwa-Suam-Kitale and Eldoret Bypass Roads Project. It is intended that part of the agreed loan proceeds will be used for payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Awareness Creation on the dangers of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) on the Kapchorwa - Suam road section.

2. The Main Objective of the assignment is to complement ongoing institutional efforts to stop Female Genital Mutilation and reduce Gender Based Violence in the project area.

3. The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) now invites consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified and have the capacity to perform the services based on experience in similar assignments as well as availability of personnel with prerequisite qualifications, skills and experience. Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
