Security tightened ahead of Uganda vs Tanzania match

Fans that will travel to Mandela National stadium, Namboole for the 2019 AFCON qualifier between Uganda and Tanzania this Saturday are assured of maximum security.
This was revealed by the Regional Police Commander Kampala Metropolitan Police SSP Michael Musani Sabila.
"I want to inform the public that all routes to Namboole will be secure and I call upon all the service providers during the match day to abide by our security guidelines," Musani said.
Like Musani, Kampala Metropolitan Police PRO C/ASP Luke Owoyesigyire advised fans to focus on the match.
"We shall not accept any groups of fans or individuals who have plans for activities not related to football. We shall ensure that all fans are safe inside and outside the pitch. Bottles or any other sharp objects will not be accepted except for drinks in disposables," noted Oyowesigyire.
In a related development, no tickets will be sold at the Stadium on match day. So fans have been advised to purchase them from different outlets such as; Airtel Shops; Jinja Rd-Shop Plaza, Lugogo Game Shoping Mall, Ben Kiwanuka Street, Airtel New Park Kyagwe road.
