KCCA Leopards defeated UCU Lady Canons 55-66 in the Lady's ultimate  National Basketball League fixture played at YMCA Court in Wandegeya, Kampala.

The Leopards' Judith Nansobya scored a game high 17 points as her side took a 20-40 lead at halftime.

UCU then won the third and fourth quarter 20-16 and 15-10, but all in vain.

Earlier on Saturday, the Leopards defeated UMU Ravens 71-39.

Sundays victory ensured that KCCA finished in second place with 15 wins from 22 attempts as the City Council side will avoid leaders JKL anywhere in the playoffs.

Now with the playoffs in sight, giants JKL and Leopards will take on UMU and Angels respectively.

UCU's Lady Canons will take on KIU's Rangers in a University derby while the third play off final will see A1 Challenge tackling the Nkumba Lady Marines.
