The national women football team, Crested Cranes and the national under 20 team, the Hippos will represent Uganda in the first edition of the East African Community Games.

The games that start on August, 16 to 30 will be held in Burundi.

The Crested Cranes and Hippos were flagged off Wednesday at National Council of Sports. Faridah Bulega will manage the Crested Cranes, while Matia Lule is with the under 20 team.
