KAMPALA - Uganda Cranes did not live to their expectation on Wednesday when they went down 3-2 to KCCA FC in a friendly match played at StarTimes stadium, Lugogo.

The national team was preparing for a regional tour match against Eastern region select team in Bugiri this weekend.

This is one of the games Coach Sebastian Desabre will use to access the performance of his players ahead of the 2019 AFCON Qualifier tie with Tanzania on September 7 at Namboole.

Midfielder Moses Oloya who features for Hanoi Football Club (Ha Noi T&T) in Vietnam was part of the friendly.

The former KCCA player had last featured for the national side during 2017 AFCON finals in Gabon.

New KCCA recruits Allan Kyambadde and Mike Mutyaba were on target for KCCA. Kyambadde scored twice past goalkeepers Ismail Watenga and Saidi Keni. Kirinya Jinja's Joel Madondo and Yasir Mugerwa each had a goal for Cranes.
