Following persistent reports linking Kefa Kisala to the managerial hot seat at his former side Express FC, the management of BUL FC has said they have a backup plan in case the move is confirmed.

According to the club CEO, Saleh Salmin, they got to know that Kisala was in talks with Express to become their new head coach and that they will not stop him from leaving.

"We came to know that Kisala is in talks with Express FC yet he is still under contract with us, but we shall not stop him from going to coach a team that he has at heart for," Salmin said.

"If it is all true, we shall regroup and look for another coach. We wish him luck if he goes,'' he added.

Despite being suspended due to his conduct by BUL in April, Kisala guided the Jinja-based side to a sixth place finish in the Uganda Premier League.

Salmin also revealed that recruitment of new players is underway at the club's Kakindu Stadium.
