The national darts federation secretary, David Tabaro is leading the team

A contingent of fourty darts players left for Arusha on Thursday for the Tanzania Darts Open starting Friday and ends on Sunday July 1.

The national darts federation secretary, David Tabaro is leading the team and is optimistic his charges will put up a good performance in the three day event.

"We are going into this tournament to give chance to our players to get international exposureand to win," Tabaro said.

"The tournament is also going to help us gauge our players ahead of the Uganda International Open on September 1-2 in Kampala," Tabaro explained.

Dina Amoding, Maria Namuganza, James Ociiti are some of the players who travelled with team accompanied by the East African Darts Association vice-president Abbey Ariong.
