The Government of Uganda (GoU) has received credit from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and towards financing the Upgrading of Tirinyi - Pallisa -Kumi/Pallisa - Kamonkoli Roads (111Km), the Upgrading of Muyembe - Nakapiripirt (92Km) Road and the Upgrading of Rwenkunye - Apac - Lira - Puranga Road (191Km) Projects.

The Civil Works for the Upgrading of Tirinyi - Pallisa Kumi/Pallisa - Kamonkoli Road Project shall be implemented in Two (02No.) Lots i.e. Tirinyi - Pallisa - Kumi (67Km) and Pallisa - Kamonkoli (44Km) road, the Civil Works for the Upgrading of the Muyembe - Nakapiripirit (92Km) project shall be implemented in One (01No.) Lot while the Civil Works for the Upgrading of the Rwenkunye - Apac - Lira - Puranga Road project shall be implemented in Two (02No.) Lots i.e. Rwenkunye - Apac (91Km) and Apac - Lira - Puranga (100Km). The design review and construction supervision for each of the Civil Works Contracts shall be undertaken by independent construction supervision consultants.
