BACKGROUND INFORMATION

The oil and gas acti viti es in Uganda have progressed to the development phase and consequently various projects are being undertaken both in the upstream and midstream in preparati on for oil producti on. Implementati on of the projects requires the parti cipati on and contributi on of a multi tude of stakeholders including Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government and private sector players like the oil companies. It is therefore imperati ve that the stakeholders are well coordinated for smooth operati ons and success of the various projects. In this regard, the Ministry being the lead agency in oil and gas matt ers is procuring the services of an individual consultant to coordinate oil and gas activities.
