MBARARA - As Muslims celebrated their Eid el-Fitr to mark the end of their ramadhan month, Muslim community in Mbarara have been asked to be security conscious and pray for the country to over come the security turbulances that are ongoing in the county.

Hundrens of Muslims in Mbarara thronged Abubaker Jumia Mosque located on Buremba Kakoba road in Mbarara town for Eid prayers which were led by district Khad Sheik Abdul Mukwaya.

Mukwaya reminded the Muslims saying that security starts with citizens before they put all the blame to Government.

He noted that security should start on the family level by bringing up children in a God fearing family.

"When our children are brought up fearing Allah, then we are putting up a foundation of a peaceful country.

"It is our responsibility as parents to ensure that this is done, don't assume the Government will take care of your children, lets have collaborating efforts with security organs to see that what is happening in our country is brought to an end," Sheik Mukwaya noted.
