Vipers ban SC Villa fans from accesing St Mary's stadium

The game that ended in a goalless draw saw Vipers' players and coach Miguel Da Costa stoned.

KITENDE - Vipers Sports Club has banned over 12 SC Villa fans indefinitely from accessing St. Mary's Stadium.
 
This follows the acts of hooliganism exhibited during the first leg of the Stanbic  Uganda Cup  semifinal game between SC Villa and Vipers at Wankulukuku stadium. 
 
The game that ended in a goalless draw saw Vipers' players and coach Miguel Da Costa stoned. 
 
In fact for Da Costa he was taken for further  treatment at Rubaga Hosptial and he is steadily improving. 
 
Vipers confirmed the banning through press release that was posted on the club's social media platform.
 
"The under listed persons have been involved have been involved in repeated acts of football violence, use of vulgar language, hooliganism, unsuspecting conduct on a number of football matches involving Vipers and SC Villa," read part of the communication.
 
Seregious Katongole, an official at the Villa is one of those that was banned.  Others include; Muhammad Lubwama, Bashir Juma, Henry Kizito, Peter Kizito, Emmanuel Bukedde, Asaph Kasule, Yusuf Ddamulira, Godfrey Akanyoleka, Jane Katende, David Sunday , Jackson Lutaaya, Godfrey Yiga, James Lutaaya ,Ssalongo Sebyoto , Zuma and one Bukenya.
 
This comes at time when Vipers will be hosting SC Villa in the return leg  of the of the semifinal next week on Tuesday at St. Mary's Stadium,Kitende.
 
The winner will face KCCA who eliminated Synergy 10-0 on aggregate in the final.
