LUGOGO - A clash of egos, a date between two favourites, Weatherhead and Kampala Stallions Sunday  at the National Hockey Stadium in Lugogo.

The highly billed fixture in the National Hockey League has perhaps come too early. But then, it is one that will carry a lot of meaning any day.

In their previous encounter, it was all about violence during the SMACK open recently that forced the game to be washed out.

Meanwhile the Stallions could not keep up with a spirited Weathehead last season as the latter won their second league title, deservedly so in a highly riveting campaign.

Weatherehead have strongly stayed away from complacency, coming back stronger this season.

Vincent Kasasa and Co have won all their opening three games since the start of the season.

None the less, Kampala remain top of the log (nine points with a good goal difference) after playing four games, one more than second placed Weatherhead (nine points). Technically theirs is a table toppers clash.

Meanwhile Saturday in the women's league, Kampala Swans will seek to recover from their opening loss in the new season when they entertain Rhinos.
