Uganda Cranes settled to a goalless draw with Malawi today evening at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.
This was Cranes' second friendly match after beating Sao Tome and Principe 3-1 last Saturday.

Both Friendly ties have been used a trial games ahead of their 2019 AFCON Qualifier with Tanzania on September 7th at Namboole. Cranes who are placed in Group L with Tanzania, Lesotho and Cape Verde top the group with three points.
At both friendly ties, Desabre managed to access the ability of new lads on the team. The likes of Abraham Ndugwa, Fahad Bayo, Tadeo Lwanga and England's Yeovil Town defender Bevis Kizito Mugabi have got chance to prove themselves on the national team.
Malawi who are preparing to take on Morocco in the AFCON Qualiers in September, looked a solid side especially in the defense and their coach Ronny Van Geneugden felt Cranes gave them a good test.
