Girl child rights advocates awarded

A number of people in leadership were awarded during the second Women in Leadership conference for being at the forefront of fighting for the rights of girls. They include judicial officers, former politicians and educationists. The function which took place at Sheraton hotel Kampala on Wednesday was graced by the First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, Mrs. Janet Museveni and Deborah Malac, the US ambassador to Uganda among other dignitaries.
