Aucho signs for East Bengal

Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho has joined  India' s top flight side East Bengal on two year deal.

Aucho was a free agent after parting ways with Serbian side Red Star Belgrade. He has had trials with clubs such as Orlando Pirates, Dundee FC and recently Saigon in Vietnam.

He joins a number of Ugandan players who are plying their trade in India and they include Keziron Kizito (Kerala Blasters), Musa Mudde and Henry Kisekka both at Gokulam Kerala

East Bengal are currently fourth in the league with 30 points from 17 games. They have managed to win  eight games, drawn six and lost three.

Aucho has also been named in the Uganda Cranes squad by head coach Sebastien Desabre to start preparing for two upcoming friendly matches.
