Ajax Queens will open their campaign in this year's FUFA Women Cup with a tie against fellow topflight side Wakiso Hills after the two sides were drawn in the preliminary round of the second edition of the FUFA Women Cup.

24 teams have registered for this year's FUFA Women's Cup including defending champions Olila High School Women FC.

The cup is a knockout competition that is played by all the FUFA Women Elite League clubs across the country.

The eight teams that reached the quarterfinals last season will enter the competition in the next round. These include Olila High, Gafford Ladies, UCU Lady Cardinals, Mutesa I Royal University, Western United, Taggy, Kawempe Muslim  and She Corporates.

The preliminary round kicks off on March 11,  while this year's final will held in Bushenyi.
