With two wins already in the bag on the Indian tour, the Cricket Cranes' half term report for both tours (Qatar and India) is fairly good.

Despite a 3-2 deficit in the Qatar tour, Steve Tikolo boys' resultant rendezvous in India have seen them blow fresh air in their trial games project.

They hope to continue with their new found form with a 50 overs match against Surat District C.A today as the build up to the ICC World Cricket League Division 4 gathers pace. The event is set for Malaysia in April.

Uganda's Simon Ssesaazi has made a strong case for a permanent placement on the national team and his remarkable half century of 51 in game two against ND Warriors remains the only half century on the Indian Tour so far.

All-rounder Deus Muhumuza is expected to parlay his impressive performance in game one to today's match against the Surat District C.A.

Tikolo has in a way used the two tours as a pilot scheme for youngsters like Simon Ssesaazi, Zephania Arinaitwe, Kenneth Waiswa and Trevor Bukenya who had his national team debut in Qatar.

Uganda will play two more games before returning home on 23 this month from what is so far a successful project.
