JINJA - The NRM flag-bearer in the Jinja Municipality East MP race, Nathan Igeme Nabeta and Jinja Mucipality West MP Moses Grace Balyeku have started working together in the mobilisation of masses to work for the party.

This was revealed by the district NRM chairperson for Jinja, Igeme during one of the political radio talk shows in Jinja town on Sunday.

Igeme said that from that day President Yoweri Museveni Kaguta attended the Jinja East constituency NRM delegate conference to unite him and Balyeku, the situation has changed.

"Balyeku and I have now started working together in the district to see that our party gains strength from the grassroots. We encourage everybody to embrace reconciliation because fighting in a family is normal and we must work as a family," Igeme said.

During the radio talkshow, the district NRM vice-chairperson, Magidhu Dhikusooka, revealed that in the NRM delegate conference which Museveni attended, he (Museveni) asked them to support Igeme for the by-election for Jinja East on March 15.

"As NRM members in Jinja East we must give our support to Igeme during the by-elections so as to retain our seat in Parliament," he said.
