Vipers' junior team brightened their chances of winning their second  FUFA Junior U-18 League title.

The Kitende side over the weekend thrashed Express 4-1 at Ssendi ground, Wankulukuku .

The victory took them to the top of the Hattrick Group with 31 points, two above Masavu.

Hope Aganyira notched a double before Alex Kizito and Sulaiman Mpanga added the other goals for the young venoms.Ismail Ssebandeke scored a consolation for Express.

The FUFA Junior league was designed to cater for players less than 18 years.

Elsewhere, Masavu went down 3-2 to BrightStars. Samuel Ssenyonjo scored a brace before Davis Ssekajja added the other for Bright Stars.

In the Treble Group, Chris Akena was on target as Maroons beat URA 1-0. Group leaders Onduparaka (33 points) were not in action.
