KAMPALA - Fraudsters have hacked into the facebook account of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) executive director Jennifer Musisi to extort from the public.

According to a statement released by KCCA on Friday, the fraudsters posing as Musisi, are demanding money in exchange for juicy jobs. KCCA employees are some of the best paid in the country.

"Please note that KCCA advertises job opportunities through mainstream media and recruitment is done by the Public Service Commissions," the statement said.

KCCA also informed the public through the statement that "Musisi runs only one facebook page, which is verified (with a blue tick) against her name — Jennifer S Musisi."

"Her other social media accounts include @KCCAED on Twitter (Twitter.com/KCCAED), which is also verified and the newly created and only @jennifermusisi on Instagram (Instagram.com/jennifermusisi)," the statement said.

According to the statement, KCCA was working with the Police to bring the perpetrators to book.

"Should you suspect anybody in the same trace, please report to the police immediately," it said.
