KCCA coach Mike Mutebi is interested in signing Ali

Ali was last month released by Police FC to join Kenyan giants Tusker FC, but he turned down the move.

KCCA FC Mike Mutebi is not about to stop signing new players. Reports indicate the KCCA is interested in signing former Police FC midfielder Gift Ali.

Ali was last month released by Police FC to join Kenyan giants Tusker FC, but he turned down the move saying it was against his Islamic beliefs to play for a side sponsored by the brewers.

If Ali makes the move to KCCA FC, he will join Steven Bengo, goalkeeper Tom Ikara , Hassan Musana and Solomon Okawlinga as the other new signings for the Lugogo based club.

KCCA coach Mike Mutebi has started beefing up his squad with new players since he is on the verge of losing some of his best players such as striker Derrick Nsibambi, left back Isaac Muleme and goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.

Muleme and Ochan have been linked to Alassiouty Sport in Egypt and Nkana FC in Zambia respectively. Nsibambi has three offers from Egypt.`
