Hotels in Gulu step up security ahead of Christmas

police in Gulu have warned the members of the public to be security conscious.

Security has been stepped up in a number of hotels in Gulu town in preparations for christmas festivities.

The general manager of Bomah Hotel, Irene Adakun, says they are conscious of security and will do everything to ensure safety for all the people who will use their hotels during Christmas.

She said they have police personnel with detectors who will check all people entering into the hotel and a 24-hour surveillance camera has been enhanced.
 
Meanwhile, the manager of Hotel Free Zone, one of the modern hotels in Gulu, has also reiterated their security alertness during the festive season.

Brian Ocen says their 24-hour surveillance camera and security personnel will ensure safety for guests.

The police in Gulu have warned the members of the public to be security conscious during the festive season, since terrorist can use the opportunity to attack the people.
