Brian White alleged victim yet to record statement

The Police in Kampala are still waiting to record a statement from a man who was allegedly shot by city socialite, Bryan White, before forwarding the file to the Resident State Attorney to press appropriate charges against the suspect.

Bryan White, who is detained at Kabalagala police Station, was arrested yesterday for allegedly shooting one Victor Bitwire, his neighbour, and injuring his right arm. 

The Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Luke Oweyisigire, says the victim is still unconscious, but will record a statement as soon as he wakes.
