President Yoweri Museveni has described marriage as an institution sanctified by God and urged couples to always seek divine guidance in addressing issues they face. The President noted that each marriage has unique blessings and challenges.

 
In a speech read for him by the Vice-President, Edward Ssekandi, during the wedding of Ambassador James kinobe at Rubaga Cathedral on Saturday, the President called upon parents to provide a conducive environment for children to grow with respect and self-esteem.   
 
The President congratulated Kinobe and Mary upon their marriage. He commended their parents for raising responsible children whose works and services he said have been shared by many and enabled them flourish wherever they have worked.

Museveni described Kinobe as a committed, hardworking and loyal cadre, who has always left behind a trail of successful milestones wherever he has worked.

He said he was confident that the couple's marriage will live to bless many who will be associated with the family.
 
The President contributed sh20m towards the wedding expenses. He said Kinobe has rendered unequivocal service to the country, saying that his stability in marriage will go a long way in contributing to further commitment and improved performance in his work.
 
Kinobe is the current Uganda envoy to Khartoum, Sudan.
