Ronz Pool Club manager Hanz Rugari still holds out hope that his club can pull off a miracle to claim their first Senior League Pool title.

The Jinja club who are participating in their first ever season in the top flight have punched above their weight to keep their title ambitions alive.

At the moment they sit fourth on the table with 44 points just 5 behind table leaders CKI and three behind second placed Hot Pool.

The team has won two of their last three matches. Those performances have given rise to feelings of a possible last minute dash to the title with six matches left to play this season.

"We have to win all our remaining matches to stay in the fight. We have three away matches against the Red Shooters in Masindi, Anchors and Oceans," Rugari said.

The away fixtures are a little on the palatable side compared to the teams that will be visiting Ronz in Jinja.

They will host Hot Pool, defending champions Scrap Buyers and Indigo.

"We have to make sure we win all our away games. We are hosting Hot Pool, Scrap Buyers and Indigo in Jinja but the challenge for us is to make sure we win all our away games and hope CKI lose," Rugari added.

The chances of the scintillating CKI losing are slim but a possible match against Skin Samona has all their rivals thinking that will be a glorious chance to make up ground.
