The Pentecostal pastors have been warned against greed and confusing Christians in their preaching.

The warning was raised by Bishop George Edweu of Pentecostal Upright Ministries during the commissioning of pastors for Ambassadors of Hope Outreach Centre Uganda (AHOCU).

The commissioned pastors were Samuel Eyenu, Isaac Emuron Omadi and Stephen Opolot.

Speaking to the pastors, Edweu noted that some pastors use their positions to extort money from Christians by claiming to be prophets who heal different ailments.

"You have been commissioned to perform pastoral duties. You should preach the gospel of salvation, not wealth," Edweu said.

He advised them to exhibit high level of love and care for Christians, urging them to be prayerful against any kind of temptations.

Rev. Justus Stanley Akol, the president of AHOCU, appealed to the pastors to emulate the spirit of thanksgiving an example to Christians.

"Walk in Godly ways, focus in searching for eternal life and preach the gospel of unity and love," Rev. Akol said.
