Nine-month-old Ashinat Nabateregga has difficulty breathing and is sickly.

After visiting Uganda Heart Institute, it was discovered that she is suffering from heart problems.

She was referred for an operation at Narayana Health Hospital in India.

Action for Disadvantaged People offered to cover the medical expenses, but the family lacks money for air tickets and up-keep.

Nabateregga's mother, Aisha Kagoya is a housewife living in Salaama, a Kampala suburb and has failed to raise money for the journey to India.

She appeals to well-wishers to come to their aid, so that her little girl gets the urgent operation. She needs $3500 (about sh12.3m) for the trip.
