Ready to fulfil the FIA conditions of closed roads for motorsport, the Enduro Uganda club has taken the second round of the national 4x4 challenge and the Enduro motocross championship on Saturday to Kalangala.

Tendo Mutale the club president  confirmed this to the New Vision on Monday afternoon saying that the  closed routes have been identified and are they are only waiting for competitors to show case their skills.

"We identified the routes, worked on them and we are only waiting for the competitors to show us what they have," Mutale stated.

Meanwhile the sixth and last round of the national motocross championship will be held next Sunday at Garuga racing track in Entebbe.

National team captain Maxime Van Pee disclosed this yesterday at Lugogo during the launch of the Sixth and final round of the Mountain Dew -Shell Helix National Motocross Championship due November 5 at Victoria Racing Track Garuga.

"We shall not be having the sevens round on the championship, but we shall have eight events next year on the calendar," Maxime stated.

"We want more events so that our riders keep training regularly to lift our standards high and that is why we have decided to increase our events to eight a season," Maxime added.

The event is sponsored by Cherish Hospital, Shell Helix, Mountain Dew and Safe Solutions.
