Forum for Democratic Change has threatened to sue individual Police officers for sabotaging their campaign programmes to elect the new party president.

Five candidates are contesting for they party's top job in the national delegates conference slated for November.

The Party secretary general, Nandala Mafabi, says Police preventing party candidates from conducting their campaigns is unlawful, citing the incident that happened in Rukungiri, where one person was killed as Police dispersed supporters.

Nandala also condemned Parliament for wasting taxpayers' money in giving money to MPs to consult the electorate on the amendment of the presidential age limit.
