Coach Nsimbe suspended from Kenya's Tusker

The Brewers are currently third in the league with 46 points

Coach George Nsimbe's future with Kenyan giants Tusker is in doubt following his suspension until the end of the season.

Nsimbe's suspension comes after he was quoted in an interview with Citizen TV stating that he needed to work with younger players next season compared to the ‘over aged' ones at his disposal.

This didn't go down well with the club's management who decided to suspend the tactician and replace him with his assistant Francis Baraza who will be in charge of the team until the season ends.

"We asked him to step aside because the players were not comfortable with the comments he made," club chairman Dan Aduda said.

Nsimbe's suspension from the defending champions follows a spell of pressure from the club's management over a run of mixed results.

The Brewers are currently third in the league with 46 points, two behind second placed Sofapaka and seven off leaders GorMahia.

Despite not interacting with team until the end of the season, Nsimbe will be entitled to receive his wages.
