KCCA only had themselves to blame after missing so many scoring chances as they settled for a goalless draw with Bright Stars Tusday afternoon at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

The defending champions created all the chances that could have won them the game but for poor finishing. Patrick Kaddu, Tito Okello, Paul Mucureezi and Timothy Awanyi were all guilty of missing gilt edged chances.

"We put up a good performance although we played a team with ten men behind the ball. But I'm not worried that we didn't win. We shall improve in our next games," KCCA coach Mike Mutebi said.

The draw left KCCA joint second with Police, Vipers and Onduparaka on ten points.

"l'm impressed that we didn't concede any goal. I'm also happy that we managed to pick a point from the defending champions," stated Bright Stars assistant coach Paul Kiwanuka.

Elsewhere, Kirinya Jinja SS came from a goal down to beat Proline to move top of the table.

Musa Esenu's brace saw the Jinja based side move to 11 points. David Owori scored a consolation for Proline.

In Namboole, Charles Ssempa, Henry Kisekka, Abdulrahman Ajab and Ronald Kigongo were each on target as URA thrashed BUL 4-0.

The league resumes Wednesday with two games.

Maroons v SC Villa (Luzira, 4pm)

Vipers v Soana (St. Mary's Stadium, 4:30pm)
