The four join John Boye and central midfielder Afriyie Acquah, who were also dropped from the team for the same reasons.
This comes at a time when coach James Appiah Kwesi dropped brothers Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew, claiming he wanted to give chance to upcoming players.
Ghana, who are in Kenya for a training camp, are expected in Uganda today. They are currently third in Group E with five points, four above bottom side Congo-Brazzaville.
Egypt tops the group with nine points, while Uganda is second with seven points.
