Ndejje University will be looking to shake off two years of failure to earn promotion to the top flight from the FUFA Big League.
The Luweero based side came agonisingly close to promotion last season where they were eliminated in the playoffs.
They host new entrants Agape SS FC in the Elgon Group on Thursday as the 2017/18 season gets underway with a host of games.
Ndejje, JMC Hippos, Kira United, Nyamityobora FC, Kansai Plascon FC, Synergy FC, Paida Black Angels, Lira United are some of the favourites this season.
Greater Masaka will host Kira United in the Rwenzori Group at Masaka Recreation Ground while Simba will play Nyamityobora in Gayaza.
