The chaos started when referee Alex Muhabi denied SC Villa what looked like a penalty

KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi has condemned the violence perpetrated by SC Villa fans over the weekend in Kitende in a game where they lost 1-0 to Vipers.

The match was marred by hooliganism with Villa fans breaking down the barricade that separated the VIP section from the ordinary stands.

"The football industry is trying to bring in sponsors and few people vandalising facilities because of a bad result or decision of a referee is not acceptable. These people are known. 20 people are not going to destroy the bigger picture of the industry. We should ban them from the stadium like it is done in the rest of the world. It's the responsibility of all us to ensure that the industry is growing," stated Mutebi.

"Some these people don't really come to cheer their teams but they come to vent. We can't allow such people to destroy the growth of our industry,"

The chaos started when centre referee Alex Muhabi denied SC Villa what looked like a penalty towards the end of first half after fans claimed that Vipers defender Shafik Bakaki had handled the ball in the box.

Muhabi's had earlier denied Vipers a penalty.
