Sheebah in collaboration with Nigeria's Runtown

When I met Sheebah Karungi in 2010, as a rookie writer, I was impressed. First, the girl is pretty, like really pretty. And this was seven years ago when she was still broke.

Second, she had the drive I had never seen in any young aspiring singer. She was broke, but managed to put together a team of back up dancers who would perform with her at the now defunct Buddies bar in Ntinda, every Tuesday.

Seven years on, she is the biggest artiste Uganda has for export. This lady has worked so hard that she no longer sees Uganda as a market big enough for her big ego.

She has taken on Africa and specifically Nigeria now. After a successful remix with singer Solid Star on her Nkwatako song, she has now set her eyes on probably Nigeria's star, singer Runtown.

The Mad Over You singer is already in Kigali Rwanda, where he has linked up with Sheebah and the video for their new song is almost done. Wait for it.
