Seale became the fifth different foreign winner of this Pros Open

Defending champion South Africa's Joshua Seale showed early intent of retaining this championship by jetting in earlier than the rest of the other foreigners and will be more acclimatized than the rest.

The Tusker Malt Lager Professionals' Open tees off Tuesday with the Pro-Am tournament.

But one expects Uganda's pros to have done their homework well and should be in position to beat one of the strongest fields ever and pray that one of their own adds to Deo Akope's (2006 & 2014) and Vincent Byamukama's 2013 overall winners' pay cheques.

Last year Seale became the fifth different foreign winner of this Pros Open at Kitante joining the likes of Kenya's Dismas Indiza who has four wins in 11 appearances. Saidi Mawa and Phillip Kasozi were Uganda's best performers finishing joint 6th and 8th last year.

The 2015 winner Madalisto Muthiya from Zambia and other Sunshine Tour players are also expected in the annual competition that is growing every year.
