The Police on Friday afternoon blocked Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine at Entebbe International Airport on his return from New York. He was ordered to report to Entebbe Police Station and make a statement.
According to Police, Kyagulanyi made remarks before he left the country for which he should be held accountable.
He was recently quoted attacking fellow legislators in the 10th Parliament for what he called ‘sinking the country further' after they accepted to remove the cap on presidential age limit.
In a strongly worded statement, which has since then been picked by a number of foreign news channels, Kyagulanyi said rather than partaking in changing the country's Constitution, the legislators should be joining hands to find solutions to gigantic problems besetting the country.
Kyagulanyi was released at night after being detained for a couple of hours at Entebbe Police Station.
