The 16 junior sides are divided into two groups of hattrick and Treble.

Elsewhere, Aron Mutebi notched a  double as UPDF beat Kirinya Jinja SS 2-1 while Maroons lost to  Onduparaka 2-0 in Luzira.

At the end of the regular season, the top two teams in both groups face-off in the play-offs to decide the winner of the league.  Soana beat rivals KCCA 4-2 penalties after goalless draw to win the title last season.
